HONG KONG and DALLAS (August 11, 2005) — Pegasus Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGS) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Rhombus International Hotels Group, a Canadian-based hospitality management company, for its flagship property, the Hotel Panorama by Rhombus in Hong Kong, to use the Utell by Pegasus™ marketing representation service. Dallas-based Pegasus is a global leader in providing technology and services to hotels and travel distributors.
Scheduled to open in early 2006, Hotel Panorama by Rhombus features 324 contemporary guest rooms including 12 spacious suites. With a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour , the hotel is located in the heart of Tsimshatsui in one of the most famous shopping and business districts with a diverse selection of shops, boutiques stores, museums, restaurants, bars and entertainment centers.

The agreement with Rhombus forms a “Preferred Commercial Relationship” wherein hotels that join under the Rhombus Group will receive an upgrade package for the Utell by Pegasus service.
The Utell by Pegasus service is used by independent hotels around the world, including 400 in the Asia-Pacific region. Through the service, member properties can be booked through the global distribution systems (GDSs) used by travel agents around the world, as well as on more than 1,000 Web sites. Many member properties are also included on Pegasus' hotelbook.com™, a Web site designed to help independent hotels and small hotel groups capture a larger share of online hotel bookings.
Members can also use rate management tools and reservation systems, marketing services and rate programs that help drive travel agent bookings through the long-established UI code. Utell by Pegasus ranks as the world's largest hotel representation service in terms of number of rooms, handling thousands of reservations each day for nearly 4,000 member hotels through Pegasus' global reservation offices.
